MEVGAL - CONSTRUCTION OF NATURAL GAS NETWORK AND BOILERS REPLACEMENT
In the middle of the pandemic a rather difficult task was performed with absolute success. In fact, it was completed twenty (20) days before the final delivery date. The underground part of the project with more than two hundred meters of pipeline of Φ250 cross section was a big challenge because the company operates 24 hours a day and its smooth operation should not be disturbed in the slightest, which was achieved. The flow of vehicles – trucks was not interrupted. Finally, the replacement of the three boilers of a capacity of 4,500,000 kcal / h each was done in parts so as not to interrupt the operation of the boiler room. The 8” steel network due to the peculiarity of the project was specially mounted throughout the boiler room. With the inclusion of our company in the natural gas network, a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 28.9% was observed.
